Welcome to the Team53 Sim2Real Initiative. We aren’t just running another sim racing league; we are scouting real-world talent. We are looking for a driver who has the on-track speed, the off-track professionalism, and the consistency to represent Team53 on the real-world grid.

Option 1: The Real-World Seat
A fully funded co-driver seat in the official Team53 Mini Cooper at a Lucky Dog Racing League (LDRL) endurance event next year. (League covers the $2,500 car rental/entry fee. Driver covers travel/lodging).

The overall champion of the series takes home their choice of two prizes:

Enter the Mid Week Mini Series
To compete for the Sim2Real seat, you must register for our flagship league: The Mid Week Mini Series.
We’ve designed an 7-week gauntlet that tests technical precision, high-speed bravery, and endurance. We are using the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup in iRacing—the ultimate proving ground for grassroots racecraft.
The Details:
- Entry Fee: $75 (Covers league ops, scoring, and the prize purse).
- Schedule: Late October through Mid-December 2026 (Includes an off-week for Thanksgiving).

November 11th: Virginia International Raceway (VIR)
November 18th: Sonoma Raceway
November 25th: Thanksgiving Off-Week
December 2nd: Watkins Glen International
December 9th: Laguna Seca
December 16th: Road Atlanta
It’s Not Just About Winning the Race
Real-world racing requires more than just raw speed. Our unique points system rewards the complete package:
- Race Finish Points: Tiered points awarded from 40 pts (P1) down to 5 pts (P40).
- Fastest Lap: +1 Bonus Point.
- Safe Race Metric (Up to 20 pts): We reward clean driving. Finish a race with 0 incidents and earn 20 bonus points. Rack up 10+ incidents and you get 0.
- Social Media Metric (Up to 7 pts/week): Racing is about community. Earn +1 point every day you post race content (clips, screenshots, write-ups) on social media, tagging the Team53 Facebook page and our sponsors.
